Regardless of being the oldest of
jewellery techniques enamelling still seduces its
neophytes by the magical unpredictability of the
final results. Enamelling provides me with a fresh
opportunity where my creative dreams come in
Blue star earrings with grey
Elegant pair of light blue star shaped
earrings with small grey pearl in the centre
The star was wax carved and cast in sterling
silver, then fired up to 5 times in order to
smooth finish to the enamel.
Dark violet star earrings with

me as much as enamel painting because it
allows me to telllittle
stories. My favourites are of children and
This necklace was inspired by our lovable
shibainu dog Nanooki, who was a wonderful
companion for all our growing up children.
He enjoyed children’s birthday parties,
first of my son Lorin and later our niece
Kira, happily receiving strokes and
hoovering under the table trying to get
whatever juicy morsel could be found. I
painted here our Kira as a birthday girl
wearing a tutu skirt accompanied by a very
much adoring her Nanooki. I set this
miniature painting into a silver frame
with hammered little stars.I
knotted larimar beads offsetting the dreamy
blue colours of the background of painting.
I made a clasp of two granulation stars to
finish this necklace.
